JOIN OUR MEDIA VOLUNTEERING TEAM

Volunteer with our Media Team and gain hands-on experience in media, production, and events. Get behind the scenes of the festival: capture live performances and interviews, and help bring the event to life. Open to volunteers aged 14 and over.

​This year, we are looking for volunteers to help with a variety of roles. Each shift will be 3 hours long and will require availability before the event to provide health and safety briefings, full details of the role requirements, expectations on the day. You must be over the age of 16 to volunteer at the Festival.

Camera – Including live on-stage video & interviews
Vision Mixing - Switching between camera feeds to create the live video shown on screens.

Sound (16+ only or accompanied by an adult) - Helping set up and manage microphones and audio equipment for performances.

Runners - Helping the team by delivering equipment, messages, or assisting wherever needed.

Event Styling - Help create the festival atmosphere by making decorations and setting up the site in the lead-up to Fringe - a great way to get involved behind the scenes before the crowds arrive.

All volunteers will be expected to accept the Terms and Conditions of volunteering at the Haslemere Fringe Festival upon successful role allocation.
