Music Works and Jellytree Productions are joining forces to support our local creative community and offer students an amazing ‘access all areas’ opportunity to join the media production team at this year’s Haslemere Fringe Festival on 3-5th July.
Funded by the Haslemere Fringe Festival, successful applicants to our Youth Media Programme will learn how to film bands/artists and work as part of a live events production crew. Join weekly training sessions with the Jellytree team at Music Works in Milford on Monday evenings from April. Then practise video production and build your skills at local gigs and events such as the Charter Fair on 4th May before the big weekend.
Successful candidates will be given an ‘access all areas’ pass for 4 days over the Fringe weekend and be involved in filming live performances, festival activities and interviews during set-up, live action production, and de-rig. They will help to operate the live video production on the main stage, displaying both live camera feed with video art, animation and effects. This is an amazing opportunity for any young person interested in how
videography within the live events and music industry works!
Depending on the student’s interests, the programme will provide opportunities to build skills in camera operation, live vision mixing, video editing, effects creation, sound recording and interviewing.
How to Enter:
Students should film a short showreel of themselves saying why (or be creative and show why!) they should be selected for this amazing opportunity.
Please keep the video to under 60 seconds and submit along with the below application form.
Deadline:
Applications to be received by Midnight 30 April 2026
Selection:
Applicants will be contacted within 7 days of their application.
